Deputy Manager
Faye began her employment here at Broad Oaks Nursery in January 2009, although before this she worked for us on a voluntary basis. Faye has worked hard in her role and through this, became our current Deputy Manger and Pre-School Room Leader. Faye has recently graduated University with her Early Years Childhood Studies, of which we are very proud of her! She works 5 days a week, term time. Faye has 2 children of her own, Ella and Isla.
“I was interested in childcare after doing my work experience at school. When leaving school I went to college where I completed my Level 2. After doing my work placement at Broad Oaks I was given the opportunity to become part of the team; 11 and a half years ago and I’m still here now. I was able to go on to complete my Level 3. I enjoy my job and always like to gain more knowledge to support children’s learning. I have recently completed a 3 year university course in Early Years Childhood Studies and always want to learn more to give children the best opportunities for learning. Broad Oaks is a positive place to work and not only is it my work place, it’s like family. All the staff have strong friendships and we all work together as a strong team to support each other and the children”
