Sarah became an employee of Broad Oaks Nursery in September 2008, originally starting prior to this on a voluntary placement. She works within our Pre-School
Room as a Nursery Practitioner. Sarah works 3 days a week (Tuesday – Thursday) & has 2 children of her own, Charlie and Harry.

“I have always been involved in childcare from leaving school but had to put my career on hold to have my own child. Once she was in school I returned and have been at Broad Oaks Nursery from that point and 12 years later I’m still here. It’s not just my work place but I have built great friendships and we are a support to each other. I enjoy thinking of different ideas and activities to help the children to develop in a fun and exciting way. Receiving hugs and smiles as I greet children at the door is a lovely bonus too!

It’s a pleasure to be involved in their many milestones, building their confidence and their independence ready to enter the big school stage of their lives”.
